kannur, northern kerala

well, it was back to the beach with us.  we had heard that the beaches of northern kerala were unspoilt and undeveloped and a great place to check out.  so we headed to kannur.  the main problem with us traveling to places where they are not used to tourists, means that the girls are constantly harrassed,  usually by well meaning, friendly people, but it does get tiresome.  i was trying take a pic of zoe and thomas playing in the water in the sunset, but there were just too many people standing and staring in the way!
they cleared out a bit and i was able to get a shot, it was a great sunset, makes me wish röke was on the beach!
the next day we were smarter, and moved much further down the beach,  it was a bit more peaceful, though thomas still had to chase off some gawkers.
yes, that is thomas reading.  crazy, right?  he has read more books than i have on this trip, turning into a bookworm he is!
today we moved even further down the beach, and ended up having it almost entirely to ourselves.  thomas and the girls collected snails and crabs, which of course zoe let go when we left.  tomorrow we are off on an early morning train ride to cochin.  hope we can find a rickshaw to take us to the trainstation!

Jättehärliga bilder, underbar strand, men förstår att ni blir trötta på att befolkningen stirrar ut er som de gör. Kan vara farligt att läsa en spännande bok för då kanske ryggen får för mycket sol!!
Oj vad vi längtar till er!
