PARIS!!!!

in celebration of our 10 year anniverseary Thomas booked us a trip to paris, without kids!  that is right our first time traveling without children since zoe came along.  amazingly we had a great time, and luckily discovered that the magic was still there.  but being the most romantic city world did not hurt.

 we ate at these tiny bistros with super yummy food, one of our favorites just happened to have another great chef´s name.  hee hee.

it was a wonderful trip, thanks to the paris pass we did just about everything we could think of.  river tours, double decker bus tour, the chocolate museum, the lovre,  romantic walks,  evening markets, wax museum, the dali museum, the list goes on and on.  it was fun to be a real tourist.  we even left our love lock on the pont des arts. thanks for 10 crazy, happy, insane, loving, full of ups and downs, but would not trade it for the world, years of marriage, my one and only dumbass!

the cold is setting in, the dark is creeping in, so this weekend it was time for a little fun.  painting is always a big hit here with our little munchkins, and sometimes with our big one!

when pappa has to work, we make time fly by making yummy rainbow cookies.  the girls always get so creative!

had a great father´s day dinner, and zoe even made farfar and thomas lovely father day hats!

up and well, almost on time to school...

everyday eijla, the dogs, and i walk zoe to school.  we are usually late, or arrive just as the bell is ringing.  none of us are morning people.  but we get our butts out of bed, bright and early, and make it there one way or another.  though at the moment it is still light, it is getting darker and darker every morning.  boo hoo.

yup, my daughter loves her ribs, okay, so i guess this proof that maybe she is more thomas´ than mine!

it is cold out. but warm in our kitchen.  had a great visit with the österström girls and made ourselves some yummy rainbow cookies! 

 

the dogs are sad the snow is melting.  much harder for them to catch snowballs..

under construction...

so we have been accumulating all the stuff we need to redo our kitchen, and now it has finally happened.  new big sink, fancy induktion stove, new wooden countertop, and a nice new window that opens easily!  yeah!

so happy to be rid of the old rotten window that the previous owners had so smartly painted shut.

 then zoe even helped with the tiling. she is quite the little renovator!

 

all done!  even got the christmas curtains up, and most likely they will be up until christmas next year as well.  but loving our new kitchen!

happy halloween

what better way to celebrate halloween then by carving pumpkins and then going swimming!

 

then we even went trick or treating, well, kinda, we headed across the street to ebba´s house.  the girls wanted to be ghosts this year.  though after we got back home they changed their minds and wanted to be princesses.  so they changed garb and went trick or treatin´ here at home as darling little princesses.

winter came early...

what happened to fall, winter is already here! boo hoo.  but zoe was happy to see snow!

 

then we headed to the swimhall, but it was closed for kids today, so we finally tried uggla baddet in perstorp wasn´t bad, but zoe likes the bigger slide in tyringe better.

we are enjoying the beautiful fall colors.  both the girls and the dogs love playing in the leaves.  not to mention climbing trees...

now that is teamwork!  love how well our girlies get along!

 then pappa lacquered the stones we painted.  now we just have to wait for spring to put them out in the yard,  cannot wait.
