today it was the tourist trail, as we headed up to Mehrangarh Fort, and Jaswant Thada (where the cremate the royals). the fort had a pretty interesting audio guide, zoe and i shared one and listened to the history of the fort. there was a lot to hear about. the fort had never been captured, pretty impressive.
after the tour, we walked out to the fort walls and a had a great view of the city, but the girls were getting pretty tired, so eijla crashed and zoe rested on a canon.
zoe, the scavenger that she is managed to find a piece of coconut shell and some flowers, most likely the highlights of the fort for her.
was impossible to try and get fotos of us in front of the fort, every time we stopped people surrounded the girls trying to touch them or take photos, so we had to settle for a family pic in a quiet corner.
after the fort it was off to the centophs, the girls had fun chasing birds and jumping off of stairs.
then it was time to head back to the hotel with two tired girls, and 2 worn out parents. good thing we had a auto rickshaw and did not have to walk back.
and what?!?! is it december? it is time to pull out the advent calendar zoe got from mormor before we left. surprised it has made it so far! zoe was pretty happy. christmas is just around the corner, though it does not feel like it at all. next we are off to jaislamer, way out in western rajastan close to the pakistan border, a wild west adventure!

Vilken härlig utsikt genom fönster och från kanon. Kan förstå att töserna blir trötta efter allt dom upplever. Kanske även föräldrarna blir lite trötta. Skönt med en åktur då.
