k.l. bird park
i don't know who had more attitude, the peacock or zoe...
or maybe it was pappa!
we stopped by the photo booth for a shot with some of the tamer birds. even zoe got to hold one!
then in the parrot house zoe got a cup of seeds, and became very, very popular.
pappa and eijla even got cozy with some birds.
we stopped by the hatching center, and zoe got to hold a baby duckling, at least until she dropped it!
then it was off to the bird show. eijla was so cute, clapping when the birds did something she liked.
then it was a farewell to the friendly hornbill.
k.l. butterfly park
zoe got to have one of the newly hatched butterfies crawl on her arm. she was pretty excited.
here they are all checking out a butterfly that landed on a bush.
then it was off to our next adventure...the bird park.

splish splash and other k.l. highlights.
and finally we all got our feet cleaned by the fishes. i think eijla had her foot in for a whole second, but she was just too wiggly. go figure.
today we hopped on a bus and checked out ampang park, literally nothing to see there. but had fun on the bus...
so we headed down to klcc, walked around a bit and got a family shot with the towers.

malaysia, here we come...
eijla had to get her wiggles out before the flight so we had to take her on a few walks.
zoe even signed her own visa application for malaysia. she is really getting good with her alphabet!
upon arrival in k.l. we had a great view of the petronas towers from our hotel room.
good night from kuala lumpur!

last day in bangkok
yesterday we went back to the weekend market to pick up some goodies to send home. the girls found a store full of stuffed animals. eijla fell in love with a little turtle, so we had to get it for her. we are calling her tao, which is thai for turtle.
today is our last day in bangkok, tomorrow we are flying to kuala lumpur. so we just stayed close to the hotel. we got massages, and eijla got a baby manicure :)!
we browsed khao san for anything we thought we might like to send home. zoe decided to get herself a tattoo! she even sat reasonably still.

eijla is 11 months old!!!
time just flies by when they are small. the other day she took her very first steps. we have not been able to get a photo or video of her walking yet, as she is still very hesistant, but it will be coming soon!
yesterday we headed back to chinatown and little india. us girls were ready for some shopping!
there is just piles and piles of fabric at the market, so while i was browsing, the girls were charming the salesladies

dreamworld
first we stopped by the gardens, and had to take a picture of this gigantic angeltrumpet for farmor!
dreamworld does have a much more asian flavor, being as there are a million and one funny foto shoot opportunities.
guess neither zoe or thomas are meant to be king...
there were actually not that many rides, and even less that the girls were allowed on. but we did get to do model T racing with them.
there was a ride called the grand canyon, supposed to be river rafting. all that really happened is that you got really really wet. but zoe really liked it.
then the girls had their first cotton candy experience. pappa the professional cotton candy eater showed them the ropes....
apparently the giant from jack and the beanstalk has his house at dreamworld. there were funny mirrors...
though i do not know what was a bigger hit their all the giant things or our blond little girls! so many people wanted to take pictures of them all day long.
girls hanging out on the giant's chair.
then the girls had their first elephant ride.
what's that? even more funny foto opportunities?
strangers wanting pictures with eijla again...
speedy mouse was one of the few rides zoe was tall enough to go on. it was a mini roller coaster, and it was a bit of a hit.
the racing cars that went about 5mph were another zoe ride...
and then there were even more photo opportunities, yes, we are definitely in asia!
last thing we did was ride on the cable cars over the park to get a bird's eye view...
it was a great day, and we had a lot of fun. but siam water park was definitely more our style.
