today we took the boat over to tonsai to see daum. but the boat only went to railay, so we had to bit of jungle trekking to get to daum's beach. zoe was great about hanging onto pappa when he needed his hands to climb.
these beaches are a mecca for rock climbers, so zoe thought she would try a bit of climbing with pappa's help.
and then it was just the short walk over the sandy beach to daum, our dear friend, and his diveschool. very impressive, he has come a long way since we worked with him. he is a divemaster, owns his own shop, and is getting married to the lovely laht in the very near future. we are so proud of him and so very happy for him. we are going to try and go back and see him towards the end of the trip.
