happy halloween

what better way to celebrate halloween then by carving pumpkins and then going swimming!

 

then we even went trick or treating, well, kinda, we headed across the street to ebba´s house.  the girls wanted to be ghosts this year.  though after we got back home they changed their minds and wanted to be princesses.  so they changed garb and went trick or treatin´ here at home as darling little princesses.

winter came early...

what happened to fall, winter is already here! boo hoo.  but zoe was happy to see snow!

 

then we headed to the swimhall, but it was closed for kids today, so we finally tried uggla baddet in perstorp wasn´t bad, but zoe likes the bigger slide in tyringe better.

we are enjoying the beautiful fall colors.  both the girls and the dogs love playing in the leaves.  not to mention climbing trees...

now that is teamwork!  love how well our girlies get along!

 then pappa lacquered the stones we painted.  now we just have to wait for spring to put them out in the yard,  cannot wait.

happy birthday farfar!

yesterday was farfar´s birthday so we headed down to bjärred today for a family dinner to celebrate.  on the way there zoe was discussing the ocean, and for some reason did not believe that farmor and farfar lived so near the sea, so we had to stop and enjoy a gorgeous sunset before heading to celebrate farfar with anders, cilla, emma, moa, and farmor.

it was a great dinner and great company, zoe and moa really had a lot of fun together, with eijla chasing close behind them.  thought this was a cute pic of the girls.

finally after two and a half years, we bought a new door for our pump room.  the old one only had a handle on one side and was, well, fit to be retired.  my super hubby installed this door in no time flat!  think it took me longer to put the lock and handle on!

jeans and binkies

our girls are growing up, finally convinced zoe to wear her jeans to school.  think it is the second time i have got her to wear them since we bought them.  luckily we bought them big.  funny thing, once she gets them on, she likes them.  it is just getting them on her!

 then mormor is heading to the states so she offered to take all of eijla´s binkies and give them to the little babies in the states that needed them.  she was such a big girl about it searched the house and put them all in a bucket for mormor!  she is really excited to share them with the american babies.

bbq with cege and brita!

finally we convinced the johanssons to come and visit,  don´t think we had seen them since we travelled in cambodia together.  farmor and farfar also came with and we had a lovely evening, including a walk in the forest.  zoe and glitter ran around like the crazies they are.

 while showing brita and cege the greenhouse zoe found a squash that she took a liking to. think she is actually snuggling with it here.

today was picture day at eilja´s daycare.  i tried to grab a decent shot of the little monster, but she was full of buse today, and this is what i ended up with!  what a ham!
