moving day is about the only time you will find your bed out on your front lawn, so you might as well take advantage of it. thomas and the girls took a break from packing the moving van to have a little fun.
the new house is nice and big, but smells vaguely of cigarette smoke (though the previous owner swears that she never smoked inside, though we have heard different from the neighbors), not to mention they painted nearly the entire house in this pastel like sea foam green color. so it is time for a bit of painting a la zoe.
and of course when you move in you have to say hello to the neighbors...

last few days in tyringe...
thomas and zoe bought themselves a new very shockproof, water proof (to five meters anyway) and bright pink camera while we were stateside. it has been a big hit with the zoester. she is a picture taking machine. some of them have come out quite nice actually, maybe we should start up a foto blog for her, but then again, when will we find the time! her she is a vision in pink (including the other skirt auntie liz made for her, man liz, you earned yourself some serious bonus points with this little lady.).
here we have little eijla, who is just growing up to fast, holding her head up by herself and everything. why does it have to all go so fast with this little ones?
and we here we have the new bästisars, hope they grow up to be great friends like zoe and maya.
and i am sure eijla will be mad at me in a few more years, for publishing a picture of her first time on the toilet! gotto start training them early.
mormor got to take a break from helping us fix up the old tyringe house to have her hair "flowerized" by our very own flower expert.

home again, but not for long...
back in sweden, and adjusting to life with a little sister. however, soon we will be doing in that in our big, new house. so excited to not be tripping over stuff!
we love our bread machine, but zoe has to check it out when it is cooking to make sure everything is working right. who knew flashlights would be such a wonderful toy for a three year old!
walked into the room and found zoe helping eijla find her groove. what do you think, pretty hip? albeit it upside down.

thanks for a great trip everyone!
we had a really great time in the states. zoe had a blast with all her cousins, and is hoping that they will come visit her soon in sweden. the family photo shoot went much more smoothly than i expected. but then again when the subjects are this adorable, you cannot help but get good pictures. angie penrose did a great job, especially getting everybody to listen and obey! thomas and i got a couple of shots in as well. here we have grandma bonnie (mormor) with all the adorable kiddliwinks. the girls are definitely dominating in this generation! go girl power!
then there was the "elders" of the family. the original "ugly" brother, "fat" brother, "mother" brother, "female" brother, "geeky" brother, and "bald" brother. (i keep getting the names messed up cause it seems like we are all getting old, fat, bald, geeky, and ugly, but luckily not too many of us are turning more female. ha ha).
zoe had so much fun in utah with her five crazy cousins, but i think that liz won a place in her heart forever when she made her the purple and sparkly skirt. liz, you are a sewing magician!
the trip to the states was a wonderful trip, it was so fun to see everyone and catch up. as an added bonus zoe's verbal english grew by leaps and bounds. she has always understood english fine, but not talked it so much. however, now she is answering me back with full english sentences, i am so proud of my little zoe monster!
