it is smultron and strawberry season, and she and mormor picked lots yesterday. ( she ate her whole bucket yesterday as well, so today she ate the bucket they picked for me!).
then we blew bubbles out in the yard. she was hilarious. she chased them everywhere. but this is when she decided they were chasing her! silly goose.
i am going to miss my silly, dirty, one of a kind, gorgeous, makes me laugh a million times a day, amazing little girl.
so zoe has gone from being obsessed with climbing trees to being obsessed with picking flowers. she has picked nearly every dahlia i have. luckily we have decided together that certain flowers are not for picking. though sometimes she decides that it is okay to pick mommies petunias, but just today! she loves picking the flowers off of the jasmine bush, but that is fine by me, zoe and everything else just smells so good.
and i think this action shot of her is just too classic zoe. did not have time for momma, off to play with something and find a little buse! man, i am going to miss that kid when i have to go up north.
mormor let zoe pick a bunch of her begonias, and then she managed to convince mama to let her have her chair on the table, AND then she and mormor hit each other with begonias. that kid just gets away with everything!

monica of course looked stunning as per usual, though don´t let the innocent look fool you!
of course swedish midsommars always seems to involve playing kube (no idea how to spell it). which is basically throwing sticks at sticks and trying somewhat to not hit the opposing team. tom and thomas were on the same team, and monica and i were on the other. pretty obviously who won eh?
had to get a shot of emanuel´s near bullseye. he was pretty proud, and we were pretty impressed. his sister ellen got pretty close as well, but i didn´t manage to get a shot of her, a bit camera shy.
and then of course there was the swedish tradition of singing and dancing around the midsommars pole. lina and rikard really shone with their midsommars song and dance talents. 
the girls thought all of us were crazy, but they seemed to have fun as well.
all in all it was a lovely evening with wonderful people. thanks tom, monica, and maya.
there are not many things in life that can beat a snuggly, yummy, fun morning with your pappa. so it is easy to understand the smile on the monster´s face. pappa started out by serving yummy homemade pancakes with strawberries and ICE CREAM for breakfast. yeah, well, that was an obvious winner.
then after downing all that goodness there was of course the crazy dancing in the living room. he was throwing her around like a ragdoll and she was loving it. that girls loves her daddy. 
zoe is a great help around the yard. she is constantly trimming things back by picking all the flowers, and today she helped pappa mow the lawn. good thing that daddy is so talented at driving the lawnmower with only one hand. they had fun anyway.
then she wanted a shot of us together. gotto love the kid.
so i realized it has been awhile since i posted of pic of how the greenhouse is blossoming. so here it is. things are looking much, much greener nowadays. everyrthing, well, almost everything is growing really well, even my dahlias are growing which i have not really been able to grow at all in our yard, i believe due to the lack of sunlight and chill. anyway, looking forward to some delicious red tomatoes and fresh peas in the pod really soon.
